Designers Services:

ACE Designers Services offers a comprehensive list of new product 
development and manufacturing development services for Designers that are 
launching their new products to market. The Designers Services listed below are 
contained and executed within the ACE Designers Services New Product Launch 
Program.  With ACE Designers Services turnkey managing these services, the 
Designers new products can be brought to market with optimum cohesiveness 
and synergy needed in executing a world class new product launch program.

Preliminary Phase: 
  - Meet with Designers marketing staff for product content, functionality and 
     general product parameters (special bells and whistles, instruction sheets, 
     yearly volumes, regional product?, seasonal product?, product market life, etc.)
  - Create new product launch team (determining specific engineer’s contributions)
  - Research similar products on the market for requirements evaluation
  - Research similar products on the market for specifications evaluation
  - Research and identify all test specifications
 
Phase I - Mockup Phase: 
  - Create Designers new product concept details 
     (engineering brainstorm session and sketches)
  - Develop 1st turn of 3d Model of Designers new product
  - Develop 1st turn of Designers new product drawings package 
     (individual components and assembly drawings)
  - Develop 1st turn of Bill of Materials for Designers new product 
     (BOM - list of components – comprehensive new product content)
  - Develop 1st turn of DFMEA for Designers new product 
     (Design Failure Mode Effects & Analysis)
  - Fabricate rapid prototyping to mockup the new product concept details
  - Assemble and evaluate the Designers new product mockups
  - Develop fixtures and test jigs for mockup testing and evaluation
  - Develop 1st turn of test specification schedule to be implemented in Phase III 
     (determines number prototypes to be built in Phase II)
  - Develop 1st turn of PFMEA for the Designers new product 
     (Process Failure Mode Effects & Analysis)
  - Develop and research initial vendor list for the Designers new product 
     (eventual production tooling vendors, component vendors and assemblers)
 
Design Review I - Release for Phase II:
  - Execute an engineering evaluation of  the requirements, specifications and 
     product concept for the Designers new product - release to Phase II
  - Review the DFMEA and PFMEA critical issues
  - Create an action item list of recommendations 

Phase II - Prototype Phase:
  - Develop 2nd turn of 3d Model of Designers new product 
     (updated from lessons learned)
  - Develop 2nd turn of Designers new product drawings package 
     (updated from lessons learned)
  - Develop 2nd turn of Bill of Materials for Designers new product 
     (BOM - updated from lessons learned)
  - Develop 2nd turn of DFMEA for Designers new product 
     (Design Failure Mode Effects & Analysis - updated from lessons learned)
  - Develop 2nd turn of PFMEA for Designers new product 
     (Process Failure Mode Effects & Analysis - updated from lessons learned)
  - Audit vendors on Phase I vendor list 
     (eventual production tooling vendors, component vendors and assemblers)
  - Build prototypes of Designers new product 
     (for Phase III testing, customer evaluation, share holder evaluation, etc.)
  - Develop 2nd turn of test specification schedule to be implemented in Phase III 
     (as a result of the number prototypes built in Phase II)
  - Develop 1st turn of Quality criteria sheets for required vendors’ control plans
 
Phase III - Prototype Testing Phase: 
  - Deliver and monitor testing of prototypes at test labs
  - Evaluate results of tests of Designers prototyped new product
  - Autopsy tested prototypes of Designers new product
  - Rebuild prototypes and retest if required
  - Deep Dive Audit vendors on PhaseII vendor list 
     (finalize production tooling vendors, component vendors and assemblers)
  - Develop 3rd turn of 3d Model of Designers new product 
     (updated from lessons learned)
  - Develop 3rd turn of Designers new product drawings package 
     (updated from lessons learned)
  - Develop 3rd turn of Bill of Materials for Designers new product

Phase IV - Validation Phase:
  - Audit vendors according to production part approval process (PPAP)
  - Prepare components for Design and Process Validation (DV - PV) Build
  - Document found noncompliance issues prior to DV - PV Build
  - Execute DV - PV Build
  - Deliver and monitor testing of DV – PV samples at test labs
  - Evaluate test results of DV – PV samples
  - Autopsy tested DV – PV samples
  - Rebuild DV – PV samples and retest if required
  - Develop 4th turn of 3d Model for the Designers new product 
     (updated from lessons learned)
  - Develop 4th turn of Designers new product Drawings Package

  - Release product  	and manufacturing processes (begin production)
